But there is plenty to do in our area. The surrounding area and nearby communities of Granbury and Glen Rose have plenty to offer. You can enjoy antique shops, museums and art galleries. You can tour a winery or visit Old Granbury Town Square with its historic buildings, galleries and restaurants.
We are only 35 miles from downtown Fort Worth with its museums, galleries, restaurants and historic stockyards. Enjoy the Amon Carter Museum, the Kimbel Art Museum, the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame and many others as well as the Zoo, Water Gardens and Nature Center & Refuge.

Outdoor Fun
If you want to enjoy the outdoors try the fishing on Lake Granbury or ride the Granbury Riverboat. You can also float the Brazos River by canoe or inner tube. A truly unique experience can be found at the Dinosaur Valley State Park where you can see dinosaur tracks along the Paluxy River.
